Welcoming home American heroes.

Honor Flights allow our chapter to thank veterans for their service as they return from visits to Washington, D.C. CFLSAR members and families gather at Orlando-area airports to welcome veterans home, often alongside the Color Guard.

How to Participate

You do not have to be in the Color Guard to attend an Honor Flight. Chapter newsletters emphasize that veterans appreciate everyone who turns out to welcome them home. Honor Flights commonly return to the Orlando area in the evening, and members are encouraged to watch chapter communications for upcoming dates and arrival details.

What to Expect:

~Arrive Early~
Plan to arrive before the flight’s arrival time so the group can gather and prepare.

~Bring Family~
Spouses, family members, and friends are often welcome to join the greeting party.

~Show Gratitude~
The goal is simple: thank veterans and make sure they feel appreciated.
